El palacio de ciudad fue construido en 1793 por Raja Bakhtawar Singh al lado de una colina. El palacio es la fusión de la arquitectura Mughal y Rajput con arcos, balcones, pabellones y pórticos. Sin embargo, hoy el palacio ha sido convertido en las oficinas del distrito y sus salas son oficinas gubernamentales, durante su época tenía mucho tesoro. Entre otros tenía un vaso de bebida hecha de una sola pieza de esmeralda y además tenía una cuadriga enorme de doble piso que necesitaba cuatro elefantes para tirarla.
