Es un estanque importante de los Sikh situado a casi 25 km. al sur de Amritsar, se dice que tiene poderes de curar y un efecto correctivo en problemas minores de la piel. Una Parikrama alrededor del estanque lleva mucho tiempo, está construido en la misma manera como el Golden Temple. Hay otro templo allí, que fue construido por Ranjit Singh.
Otra gurudwara, Guru Arjun Dev, en el pueblo de Tarn Taran, celebra ferias en cada noche de luna llena. Aunque no haya ninguna prueba científica que el agua cura a la lepra, se dice que tiene propiedades de curar. Se cree que cualquier lepra quien pueda cruzar el tanque nadando tendrá una curación milagrosa.
