La gran área, un recuerdo de los mártires inocentes indios y la brutalidad del General inglés Dwyer, este es Jalianwala Bagh. Hoy un monumento histórico, antes era la tierra mojada con la sangre de los cientos de indios jóvenes y viejos inocentes, hombres, mujeres y chicos que habían reunido en el año nuevo de los punjabies en abril 13, 1919, y para denunciar el Acta Rowlatt. Cuando los pocos discursos acabaron el General Dwyer junto con sus tropas llegó allí. Dió el mando a su tropa a abrir fuego sin advertencia. Siguieron con el fuego hasta acabar la munición.
Un memorial al martirio de los inocentes y las huellas de balas en Las paredes cuentan este incidente trágico. Un sitio a que se debe visitar para ver la brutalidad del General inglés Dwyer.
