Popularmente conocido como Gautam Kund, el templo Chandrabani está situado casi 7 kms desde Dehradun. Según las leyendas, Maharishi Gautam junto con su esposa Ahilya e hija Anjani vivían allí. También se cree que la hija de paraíso - Ganga se había manifestado a sí misma en este sitio, a que se popularmente conoce como el Gautam Kund. Cada año, devotos en grandes cantidades, toman un baño en este kund sagrado. Aparte de su importancia religiosa el sitio ofrece una bonita vista de las colinas Shivalik.
