Bharmaur, 65 kms del pueblo principal de Chamba es la casa de los semi nomádicos Gaddis, los pastores de esta área, y la anterior capital de los reinos de este sitio. Permaneció la capital de los reinos por casi 400 años. Hoy además de la belleza abundante natural con que está rodeado, Bharmaur tiene fama por sus templos ancianos. Está lleno de bonitos templos que remontan a los siglos 7º y 8º. El hito de este pequeño pueblo es la plaza Chaurasia. El nombre es por los 84 templos que tiene en aquel vasto complejo. El templo principal es el templo Mani Mahesh que está allí. Tiene muchos templos más dedicados a varios Dioses hindúes como Ganesh, Lakshmi y Vishnu.
