En la Estación de Electricidad Sidrapong las aguas de las Victoria Falls están utilizadas para generar electricidad. La Sidrapong Power Station proporciona por todas las necesidades de electricidad de Darjeeling y sus suburbios y fue el primer Proyecto Hidrólico en la India.
