El palacio Ujjayanta

Antes la casa de muchas familias reales, el palacio Ujjayanta actualmente es la Asamblea Legislativa del estado. Fue nombrado Ujjayanta en honor de su arquitectura magnífica por el gran poeta Rabindranath Tagore quien tenía estrechas relaciones con la familia real de Tripura. Construido por el Maharajá Radha Kishore Manikya entre 1899-1901, la construcción de este edificio con arquitectura indo-saracénica fue dirigido por Martin and Burn Company. Tiene gran renombre por su sala china y los estanques y fuentes aumentan más la belleza de este edificio. El palacio Kunjban y el Malancha Niwas son los otros edificios reales que fueron construidos por la dinastía Manikya y tienen asociación con el gran poeta Rabindranath Tagore.
