Description:
Un buen ejemplo de la arquitectura bengalí de templo del siglo 17, el Templo Kamateshwari es una atracción principal en el pueblo de Gosanibari. A casi 37 km. desde Coochbehar, situado a una distancia de casi 8 km oeste de la estación de ferrocarril Dinhata, la estructura original del templo fue destruida. Sin embargo, la estructura actual es también de casi 300 años, construida por Maharaja Pran Narayan en 1665. Dedicado a otra encarnación de la Diosa Parvati, dentro del templo se puede ver el trono de la Diosa.
