El Fuerte Bala

Description:
Es enorme fuerte construido antes del imperio Mughal está a la altura de 304 mtrs. Arriba de la ciudad. Babur había estado en este fuerte por una noche y llevó los tesoros escondidos de éste para regalar a su hijo Humayun. Jehangir, el hijo de Akbar también había vivido aquí durante su exilio. A aquel lugar se llama el Salim mahal. El fuerte fue finalmente anexado por Pratap Singh en 1775 A.D. Es una estructura enorme con 15 torres grandes y 51 pequeños y 446 aberturas, junto con 8 torres grandes que lo rodea. El fuerte tiene muchas puertas como el Suraj pol, Lakshman pol, Chand pol, Jai pol, Kishan pol y Andheri pol. Se puede ver los restos de Jal mahal, Nikumbh Mahal, Salim Mahal junto con el Suraj kund y muchos templos.
