Los Templos de Baroda

Description:
El más prominente de todos los templos en Baroda es el Kirti Mandir. Este templo fue construido en 1936 por Maharaja Sayaji Rao en memoria gloriosa de sus antepasados. Es un edificio magnífico con cúpulas y terrazas y tiene un grupo de templos Shiva. Lo más destacable en este templo es su mural exquisito que adornan las paredes interiores, que representan cuentos mitológicos creado por el artista renombrado bengali Nandalal Bose.
Los otros importantes templos incluyen el gran edificio de corte, que aloja el tribunal pero se llama el Nyay Mandir o templo de justicia. Otro es el anciano templo real dedicado al Dios de Sol, el Surya Mandir.
