Siddhatek es un pueblo remoto al lado del río Bhima cerca de Ahmednagar. Tiene mucha fama por el templo Ashta Vinayak Ganesh. Este templo anciano está sobre la cima de una colina y fue construido por Ahilyabai Holkar de Indore. Se considera que el Siddhivinayak en Siddhatek es una deidad especialmente poderosa. Según creencia popular Vishnú adquirió Siddhi en la Montaña Siddhatek. El templo nuevo fue construido durante el reino de Peshwa. El ídolo tiene altura de tres pies y tiene al Riddhi-Siddhi sentado en su regazo.
