El templo situado en Gur Mandi cerca del mausoleo Imam Nasir remonta a la época Lodhi. Se cree que fue construido por el Nawab de Sultanpur Lodhi, el mandir es una mezcla de la arquitectura musulmana e hindú. La entrada principal está construida en el estilo de una mezquita mientras el resto del edificio es en estilo hindú. Hay una leyenda que cuando Jalandhar era el territorio del Nawab se enamoró de una muchacha hindú recién casado quien era una devota del Señor Shiva. Señor Shiva en la forma de un serpiente salvó su honor. Temiendo por la apariencia de este serpiente el Nawab pidió perdón a la muchacha y construyó el templo según su deseo.
