El Paso Rohatang situado acerca de 52 km desde el pueblo de Manali a una altitud de 3980m es el sitio que se tiene que pasar por para poder llegar a Keylong o a Lahaul y Spiti. Lleno de nieve por todo el año se supone que es un paso difícil para cruzar. El trek a Rohatang empieza desde este pequeño pueblo de Marhi cerca del paso. El glaciar Sonapani está claramente visible desde el paso Rohatang en un día claro.
