El Templo Rangantha

Description:
El más importante sitio de adoración en el pueblo es el templo de Ranganatha situado un poco lejos del pueblo sobre un elevado sitio rodeado prácticamente por todos lados por las aguas del tanque 'Rangasamudram'. La gente cree que el templo es tal importante como el uno en Srirangam en el sur.
'Brahmotsavam' celebrado por diez días desde el 'Phalguna Suddha Ashtami' hasta 'Bahula Vidiya' (febrero-marzo) es el más importante evento anual en el sitio y en esta ocasión alrededor de 25,000 devotos congregan por toda la región de Telangana y por lo tanto de Kurnool. Es uno de los más importantes centros de peregrinaje en el distrito.
