El Pilak pith casi 50 kms desde Udaipur es un lugar sagrado para ambos los devotos hindúes y por lo tantos los budistas. El sitio conserva rasgos arqueológicos que fechan al siglo 7 y el 9 A.D. Algunas imágenes bonitas han sido encontrados en muchos sitios que incluye imágenes grandes de Avolokiteshwar y Narsimha en este mismo lugar. Pilak es un tesoro escondido de un pasado glorioso. Las placas de terracota y los sellos que se han encontrado aquí son pruebas del pasado heterodoxo que ha sobrevivido en esta región.
