De los tres templos de cueva que se remontan al quinto siglo sólo hay uno que se preserva en una manera buena. Contiene los ídolos del Señor Nataraja y Vinayaka entre otros. Las otras famosas cuevas son las Cuevas Undavalli, situadas a unos 8 km desde Vijayawada. Estas cuevas eran construidas en el siglo 7 A.D.
