El pueblo Mana es el último pueblo de India en la frontera Indo-Tibet está a penas 3 kms. desde Badrinath. Establecido por el tribu Indo-Mongoliano, este pueblo tiene una población de sólo 200 personas. Estas personas trabajadoras tiene una vida dual familiar ya que solo por la mitad del año están en las montañas y la otra mitad están en las llanuras. La gente ha conservado sus antiguas tradiciones y cultura y apenas mezclan con otros. Anteriormente este tribu solía tener sus propias relaciones comerciales con Tibet, pero ya no por la relación tensa de ambos países.
