En el centro de la parte antigua de Jamnagar, sobre una isla en el medio del lago Ranmal, hay dos magníficas viejas estructuras el Fuerte Lakhota y Bastión Kotha. El Fuerte Lakhota es el Museo de Jamnagar y sus terrazas muestran una buena colección de esculturas que abarcan un período desde el siglo 9 hasta el 18. La Bastión Kotha es el arsenal de Jamnagar. Una de las más interesantes cosas es un antiguo pozo, el agua de cual se puede sacar al soplar en un pequeño agujero en el suelo.
