45 km. a casi 19 km. en el norte de Hungund, el centro de peregrinaje de Koodalasangama está en la confluencia de los Ríos Krishna y Malaprabha. En las orillas del río está el templo renombrado de Siva como Sangameshwara. Hay ídolos de Basaveshwara, el famoso santo compositor, su consorte Neelamma, Nandi y Ganesha, en el complejo del templo. Se dice que Basaveshwara estaba aquí durante su niñez y luego consiguió nirvana aquí. Dando cara al templo, en medio del río, hay una pequeña mantapa de piedra con una Shivalinga.
