Hay golondrinas, gaviotas, garzas, y unos cuantos más pájaros migratorios que viene a este sitio desde el mes de noviembre y vuelven con el final de abril. La época ideal para visitar es desde diciembre a abril en las horas tempranas del día.
Otros sitios que merecen la pena visitar son Velleri Mala, un bonito sitio para treks y Velliyamkallu.
