Gondhla está situado a una distancia de 18 kms desde Keylong a una altitud de 3160 metros, la sede del distrito al lado de la orilla derecha del río Chandra. Gondhla es el más grande pueblo en el valle. Gondhla tiene fama por los Thakurs quienes son los jefes del pueblo y su anciana residencia que era construida en 1700 A.D. y todavía se la utiliza los descendientes de los quienes lo construyeron. De verdad era construida por el Raja Man Singh quien se casó con la hija de los Thakurs para poder controlar al área.
