La famosa mitológica colina, que se cree que es un vulcanio extinto, en la ladera del cual el pueblo entero fue establecido tiene mucho respeto para los hindúes y los jainistas igualmente. Se cree que era una montaña volando. Pero hoy tiene más fama por los 16 templos jainistas tallados y esculturados de mármol que decoran esta famosa colina. Estos bonitos templos jainistas son dedicados a Neminath y Mallinath. El templo hindú dedicado al Señor Shiva también atrae a miles de devotos a esta colina quienes suben a las 10,000 escaleras construido en el siglo 20.
