Description:
Fuera del templo, en la isla, hay unos sitios a cuales también se considera como sagrados. A unos 2.5-km en el oeste del templo, sobre una colina, está el Gandamadhana Parvata. En el este de Mandapa se puede ver las huellas del Sri Rama. Desde arriba del Mandapa hay una buena vista de las partes de la isla. A 8-km desde el templo, en camino a Dhanushkodi, hay un bonito templo del Sri Kodandarama donde, según leyenda, Vibishana era coronado cuando se unificó con el Sri Rama.
