El Complejo Capitol es la área principal de Chandigarh y el trabajo más espectacular de Le Corbusier, el arquitecto de Chandigarh. Es el centro del gobierno de los estados de Punjab y Haryana y además es una atracción turística. Casi en las afueras de la ciudad de Chandigarh, como el Acropolis de Grecia, los edificios geométricos de hormigón, son las esculturas que dominan al horizonte de Chandigarh.
