La magnífica torre del Templo Sri Badrakaliamman en Sivakasi tiene una brillante puerta Kalasam que atrae a todos los que vienen. El templo en sí es una expresión de auto-aserción por los miembros de la Comunidad Nadar quienes anteriormente era mal tratados. Se formaron un separado comité llamado el "Devasthanam Committee" para dirigir los asuntos diarios como hacer el pooja diario y celebrar festivales. Este templo ha sido periódicamente renovado desde 1983-84. El Rajagopuram era construido dentro del período de 8 años y se cree que es el más alto de todas las torres del templo de Kali en el estado.
