El lago Badhakal ha sido nombrado por la palabra persa Bedakhal que significa, sin ninguna interferencia. Este gran lago está situado de tal forma que es difícil localizarlo, por eso su nombre. El lago a casi 20 kms desde la ciudad de Faridabad, es un sitio pintoresco para picnic y uno de los sitios preferidos de la gente de Delhi. Al lado hay otro lago conocido como el lago de pavo real que también es un sitio bonito. Ambos lagos ofrecen una espléndida vista y facilidades para pasear en barcos etc.
